New seasonal route to the Icelandic capital will operate three flights a week between April and October.
TAP Air Portugal is set to expand its operations in Northern Europe with the launch of a new route between Lisbon and Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland, during the summer of 2027.
The new route will commence on 1 April 2027, with three flights a week in each direction.
Flights will depart from Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 9.05 pm, arriving at Keflavik International Airport at 12.55 am the following day.
In the opposite direction, flights from Iceland will depart on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 01.45, arriving in Lisbon at 07.25.
With this new service, TAP is strengthening connections between Portugal and Iceland, bringing together two European destinations with very distinct tourist offerings and creating new travel opportunities in both directions. The connection via the Lisbon hub will also make it easier for passengers travelling from Iceland to access TAP’s network of destinations.
The new route also opens up a direct connection to one of Europe’s most unique tourist destinations. Reykjavík combines a strong cultural identity with a prime location for exploring Iceland’s main natural attractions. With its volcanic landscapes, waterfalls, glaciers, geysers and geothermal areas, the country offers some of Europe’s most impressive natural scenery, including the famous Golden Circle – featuring Thingvellir, Gullfoss and the Geysir geothermal area – and the island’s southern coast.
Return flights between Lisbon and Reykjavík are available from 349 euros, including all taxes. More information here. Bookings in www.flytap.com or contact your travel agent.
